Nicolas Verdoncq is an independent art director, graphic designer and visual artist based in Tournai, Belgium.

His practice lies at the intersection of graphic design and artistic research, where commissioned projects and pictorial explorations inform and enrich one another. He is also co-founder of Monolitt, an intimate shared collection of art and design.

His work ranges from visual identities, posters, publications, spatial installations and graphic systems to a personal body of work developed around printed images and painting. He explores the relationships between form, language, material, colour and space, through a practice that moves between construction and intuition.
